Tuition at the University of Kentucky is ever increasing. Students such as my self are finding it harder and harder to pay the increaases each year.If university leaders and state officials want to see education pay off in the state of Kentucky the annual tuition hikes and astronomical fees have to end.

A major issue in Lexington right now is a student-housing proposal that would redistribute housing near the University of Kentucky’s campus and ultimately force students further away from the college. A recent study found that, due to the recession, people either want or will want more affordable housing. Such housing can be found in the neighborhoods surrounding UK’s campus, where many students live.
